2012 Search and Rescue Training and Activity Schedule
Yearly Schedule
Join the Douglas County 4x4 Search & Rescue
The purpose of the 4x4 SAR team is to provide a team that is capable of responding in almost any weather or terrain. The 4x4 SAR team will provide a "containment" search capability, which means the team will be deployed on roads around the area were a subject is reported missing. The team will also function as a transportation unit, providing equipment operators and vehicles to operate specialty vehicles such as snow cats and to transport searchers

Comments overheard while climbing 4 banger hill:
- Man this stuff looks like what I had for breakfast (Oatmeal)
- If that dang 4 banger can make it so can I :)
- Okay, here we go.
- Hmmm, Ain't gonna make it this time. :(
- Whoa Dog..!
- Don't Move! (from somewhere up the hill)
- How's that feel? (again from up the hill)
- You're about to roll over! (not sure where from)
- Ya Think?!?
- Go back down the hill and try again. (from up the hill)
- I've already been down there.
- Okay we've got it pointed in the right direction again.
- Starting from the middle of the hill (this hill) with an automatic.... yeah right.
- If I can spin'em hard and keep it on the right line I can do this
- Okay, here we go.
- Lockers on, pedal to the floor, all four's a pulling and the mud's flying high, Yahoo!
- Up and over we go..!
- God I love this stuff :)
