Welcome
We are a group of off-road enthusiasts in Douglas County, OR. X-Treme Offroaders is one of three groups in Douglas county. We are a family friendly club whose many members are concerned about safe, fun and sustainable off roading.
Tread lightly
As a club, we promote and respect the goals of Tread Lightly. We require conscientious off road use of our members. We hold regular trail clean up runs. We work with local and regional government to form good ties between our club and various public lands management groups.
Most of our runs and all of our monthly meetings are open to the public. We announce all of these events in the forum.
Club history
We started the club in June of 1997 with the goal of being a family-oriented off-road group who could enjoy the many wonders of the area. We decided that it was more important to have fun rather than compare rigs and leave others behind. Our club motto is "One for all and all for one." We do not leave anybody behind. If you go with us, you will come back! We enjoy doing parades, club runs, road trips, and creating a rock crawl course in Myrtle Creek. Our club bylaws are online for you to read.
Want to join us?
Our meetings are the second Sunday of every month at 5:00 PM. During the fall and winter months we try to do a club run twice a month. If you want to be a member you must attend four functions and then pay the annual dues of $24 per family. Meetings are announced in the calendar.
No, you do not have to have a four wheel drive vehicle to be a part of the club. You can enjoy all of the benefits while we convince you to spend the bucks on your first 4x4! For more information, talk to a club member or write us.
